Stylin’ Leather – Casual

If you’re reading this is means you survived Monday, congrats love! I’m not the first girl to wear a leather jacket and I certainly won’t be the last but I defiantly am a bit picky when it comes to my leather ensembles. So over the two weeks I am going to be posting about how I style/wear my leather jacket in the winter. This is my first winter not in Florida (judge me for saying this) but I am a little scared. I am a total Florida girl when it comes to weather and even though it’s just a state away, I am feeling the wind chill in Georgia. You would be surprised just how warm this jacket is, and paired with some cozy accessories gives it a warm and casual look.

My Playlist’s

I am such a music lover, and as you can tell my taste is all over the board! The first has a little bit of everything, these are mostly all my current and old (some very old) favorites.  I also made a Christmas playlist of all my favorites, there is nothing better than Christmas music in December. Hope you enjoy!

Is it just me or are all post holiday weeks the longest and hardest??? Thankfully its Wednesday and we are half way through the week. Im kind of obsessed with the look I’m bringing ya’ll today, bomber jackets are so popular right now and this one is lightweight and has a velvet look to it, I love it! Lately, I have been really into mixing neutral colors, it just gives a clean look and provides a lot of variety. I know post thanksgiving week is busy for everyone so I’m keeping this short and sweet, hope you enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving my loves!! Thanksgiving is one of my absolute favorite holidays! My two sisters and I started the morning off by drinking mimosas while watching the Macy’s thanksgiving day parade (a tradition of ours) and loving on sweet baby Vivi, the newest addition to our family. I have a really large extended family and we always get together for a big Thanksgiving day lunch. While this isn’t what I will be wearing today I thought it was a great casual & comfy look for any thanksgiving get together. Over the knee boots are all the rave right now and I totally understand why and these are seriously unreal comfy. I added some of my favorite accessories and finished off the look with a cross body bag.

Thanksgiving is a day full of food & if you come from a southern family like mine hunting but also a time to reflect on just how much you have to be thankful for. If you know me, you know I’m naturally a positive, no fuss kind of person and I CHOOSE to talk about my blessings, not my burdens. It’s funny because my friends always joke and use the saying #blessed because I’m constantly saying how blessed I am, but it couldn’t be more truthful, today and everyday I choose to be thankful for all the blessings in my life and I hope you do the same<3

Hi Loves! So life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately and I have recently moved from Florida to Atlanta for a job opportunity and truthfully couldn’t be any happier. As crazy as it is to be stepping into a brand new role and being in a completely new city, I am trying to embrace the change to the fullest. I still co own Deep Southern and will always be involved in the store. I am a firm believer that whatever you put out in life you get back 10 fold & this move has been a total testament to that. In just a few short weeks how quickly things have fallen into place really blows my mind, from meeting some of the most amazing people to exploring my new city, I couldn’t feel anymore blessed.  I have to say one of the best perks of living in Atlanta is defiantly the shopping. I picked up this neutral tone cape last week and it is such a fun piece, I kept it really simple with ripped jeans, a white top and booties.

Holy Grail Beauty Products – Face Edition

The topic I get asked about most is without a doubt, Makeup. I am the youngest of three girls, one of the many reasons that attribute to me being a total makeup and beauty product lover/junkie. I can remember being a little girl sitting on the bathroom counter watching my Moma and older sisters put their makeup on, wishing I was old enough to do the same. My aunt was a hair dresser and my cousins were always teaching me and letting me play with their makeup. I really do owe them all the credit for always encouraging me to use makeup to enhance my features, not cover them up. I am by no means a professional but over the years of doing my makeup and many others I have really fallen in love with how it can make people feel. When you show a woman how to correctly apply makeup and do it in a way that brings out her already present beauty, there is a confidence you can’t turn off. I have gathered together my list of Holy Grail Beauty Products, Face Edition. These are all products I use pretty much everyday, and have stuck to for sometime now. Comment below and let me know if you want more posts like this, hope you enjoy!
